Helping Teachers Create Classrooms Where Every Child Can Thrive!

Helping Elementary Teachers Make Learning Meaningful and Fun!
Hi, I’m Michelle!
I’ve always known I wanted to be a teacher. There’s nothing more rewarding than creating a classroom where young learners are excited to explore, take risks, and discover just how capable they are.
I create classroom-tested elementary teaching resources and practical teaching ideas that help elementary teachers save planning time while giving students opportunities to learn, explore, and grow with confidence.
My Story
Hi, I’m Michelle!
I’ve always known I wanted to be a teacher. There’s nothing more rewarding than creating a classroom where young learners are excited to explore, take risks, and discover just how capable they are.
One of my favorite parts of teaching is witnessing the incredible growth that happens during the elementary years. Students often walk into the classroom not yet knowing all of their letters, sounds, or foundational skills—and leave with greater independence, confidence, and a genuine excitement for learning.
As an elementary teacher with more than 13 years of classroom experience, I’ve learned that the best learning happens when children are actively engaged. My classroom is built around hands-on learning, meaningful experiences, and opportunities for students to take ownership of their progress.
Over the years, I’ve taught kindergarten through second grade and have also served as an instructional coach. I’ve written curriculum, mentored fellow educators, and earned my principal certification. Each experience has strengthened my passion for supporting both students and teachers.
What I Believe About Learning
I believe learning should be joyful, purposeful, and built around the needs of real children.
Young learners thrive when lessons are clear, engaging, and connected to meaningful experiences. They need opportunities to move, create, talk, practice, make mistakes, and try again.
I also believe teachers deserve resources that are practical and easy to use. A beautiful activity is only truly helpful when it supports learning, fits into a real classroom schedule, and saves the teacher valuable planning time.
That belief guides everything I create for Teach by Michelle Allison. That’s why all of my resources are tested in my own classroom before I share them with you.
