This craft is one of my absolute favorite Valentine’s day activities and I do it with my class every year! This craft serves as a keepsake Valentine for families and it requires almost no effort on your part! Valentine’s Day Hershey Kiss Hunt
Okay, who’s up for a treasure hunt? Hide 100 Hershey kisses around your classroom and watch the kiddos turn into mini detectives. Want to sneak in some learning? Ask students to place the chocolate into their correct place on a 100 chart. You can modify to increase this activity by giving them a blank 100s chart or one with only a few numbers. It’s math, but with chocolate – the best kind!
Valentine’s Day Directed Drawing
Ready to draw some love? Directed drawing is not just fun; it’s a secret way to boost those fine motor skills and listening abilities. Directed drawings are a classroom favorite with my students every year. You can find tons of ideas on Youtube but if your district blocks Youtube, you can grab this printable step-by-step pack with 10 Valentine’s Day directed drawings.
