Who doesn’t love a good story, especially when it’s about love, friendship, and kindness? Grab these books, gather your little ones, and watch their eyes sparkle with delight:

  • The Day It Rained Hearts: Imagine hearts raining from the sky! This book is a beautiful way to chat about kindness and giving.
  • Loveosaurus: Dinosaurs and love – a roaringly good combo that’ll have the kiddos giggling and learning.
  • Crankenstein Valentine: This one’s a hoot! It’s all about the ups and downs of Valentine’s Day emotions, and trust me, it’s relatable (we’ve all been a Crankenstein once in a while).

 This craft is one of my absolute favorite Valentine’s day activities and I do it with my class every year! This craft serves as a keepsake Valentine for families and it requires almost no effort on your part! Okay, who’s up for a treasure hunt? Hide 100 Hershey kisses around your classroom and watch the kiddos turn into mini detectives. Want to sneak in some learning? Ask students to place the chocolate into their correct place on a 100 chart. You can modify to increase this activity by giving them a blank 100s chart or one with only a few numbers. It’s math, but with chocolate – the best kind!
